This year’s class of rookies for the National Football League has star potential.
Jalen Milroe, a former quarterback at the University of Alabama, was the most intriguing prospect. He had his highs and lows for the Crimson Tide, including a Southeastern Conference Championship in 2023, but his ceiling could be very good if used correctly in Seattle.

His dual-threat capabilities were huge for the Tide in 2023 under Tommy Rees as he totaled 35 touchdowns — 23 passing, 12 rushing — and 3,365 yards. Milroe’s interceptions increased from six in 2023 to 11 last season; however, he recorded 36 scores under Nick Sheridan.

The native Texan was featured in the NFL’s Rookie Premiere as he’s expected to be a player that can blossom in the pros. If he can develop more in his ability to read defenses and consistently be accurate on short to intermediate routes, Milroe will be a massive success in the NFL.
