He has many special roles in his life, but being a brother is one that is hurting right now.
Reports have surfaced on social media about Kierston Russell, the twin sister of Alabama freshman quarterback Keelon Russell, passing away. Both moved to Tuscaloosa (Ala.) shortly after graduating from Duncanville (Texas) High School. The twins danced together on the graduation stage, symbolizing their excitement to move forward together to the next chapter.
So good.

Kierston, like her brother, was a talented athlete in high school. He dominated in football, while she owned the basketball court. Keelon shared a photo on Instagram from Lovodges Heggins that read, “Stay strong for mom. My prayers and Thoughts are with y’all.”
No one knows how the death came about, but it is a hurting time for Russell’s family.
Everyone’s heartfelt condolences go to him and his family at this time.
