Betting site has Alabama an underdog in one game for 2025

Betting sites have started getting college football fans ready for the fall.

After missing the 12-team College Football Playoff in 2024, Kalen DeBoer and Alabama eye a bounce back season in pursuit of a national championship. The schedule is tough for the Crimson Tide; however, the matchups it loss last year on the road are now home games.

BetOnline.ag is one of the few sites to reveal betting lines for the coming season.

Alabama is the favorite in its matchups against Florida State (-13.5), Tennessee (-12.5), LSU (-6.5), Oklahoma (-14), and Auburn (-7.5). Georgia is the lone matchup per BetOnline where the Tide is not favored. Alabama goes into Sanford Stadium as a 4-point underdog.

This happened in 2008 and 2015 for the Crimson Tide as it ultimately defeated the Bulldogs in Athens (Ga.) in both situations where it was the underdog. Alabama was a slight underdog in the 2021 SEC Championship Game, but Bryce Young shredded Georgia’s secondary.

It is going to be interesting to see how this year’s contest goes, especially with it being DeBoer’s first time facing Kirby Smart on the road.
