Alabama WR makes 2 bold predictions for himself for 2025

He never shies away from confidence, but he backs it with up with his efforts.

Ryan Williams lived up to the five-star hype in his freshman season at the University of Alabama as a 17-year-old wide receiver. The former two-time “Mr. Football” in the state of Alabama from Saraland (Ala.) High School earned Freshman All-American, first-team All-SEC, Freshman All-SEC team honors in 2024. The 6-foot, 175-pounder recorded 48 catches for 865 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, including two 100-plus yard outings versus Georgia and South Florida. Williams averaged 18 yards per catch as a freshman, but he is looking for more.

Now at 18 years old, he looks to help the Crimson Tide capture a national championship for the first time in four years. The last time Alabama won a national title was in 2020, when the global Coronavirus pandemic caused a major adjustment for the United States. Williams has been training with wide receiver specialist, Yo Murphy, and a former Tide legend in DeVonta Smith.

He has other talented weapons around him on offense, but Williams has two bold goals for himself in the coming fall. He made them known in an interview with Overtime.
