Alabama defensive line working to be elite in 2025 season

This year’s Alabama football team is not just talking, it is putting the work in.

Freddie Roach has several defensive linemen that should pop marquee numbers in the fall, especially if each player steps up. Each guy on the front either had Roach as its primary recruiter or he was the one that sealed the deal late. Jeremiah Beaman has been training with Leonard Stephens of Step-By-Step Performance Training in Birmingham, Ala. The tandem of James Smith and Qua Russaw are with MadHouse Training in Montgomery, Ala., while Tim Keenan III, Jordan Renaud, Isaia Faga, and Kelby Collins are with Coach Swift in Birmingham.

The Crimson Tide is serious about having its defensive front pummel quarterbacks.

NFL Draft analysts are now studying an Alabama CB for 2026 venue

It has been a while since Alabama carried a defensive line that made opponents quake with fear, so now is the time for it to return. We will see how the group does in preseason camp, but Tide fans are prepared to see an elite group.
